WHAMISA FRESH Exfoliating tonic from prickly pear is primarily intended to brighten your skin. This brightens due to exfoliating effects (active removal of dead cells). As a result of using an exfoliating tonic, your skin will be smooth, radiant and given an impulse to produce collagen. Suitable for all skin types, including problematic skin and acne. Ideal for quick facial refresh.
ATTENTION! Do not mix with classic WHAMISA TONIC. This is basically a liquid peel that is made to wash off. And only then use the classic WHAMISA Tonic.
Our experience: We recommend drier skin types use it only occasionally. The oily skin type can use it more regularly. Our CEO Líba said: "Because I have a dry skin type with a tendency to atopy, I really only use it 2-3 times a week. After applying it, I use WHAMISA Tonic DEEP RICH as the next step, which will provide the necessary dose of hydration and only then WHAMISA Natural Lifting Prickly Pear Serum.”

WHAT MAKES FERMENTED SKINCARE INGREDIENTS SPECIAL?
Fermented ingredients have a higher concentration of antioxidants and nutrients than non-fermented versions of the same ingredients. The fermentation process itself also produces additional skin-beneficial ingredients, such as amino acids and peptides. Additionally, fermentation helps break down the ingredients into more readily absorbed constituents, so the positive effects the ingredients have to offer are experienced more fully.
There’s also early but promising scientific evidence that some lactobacillus ferments help treat and prevent acne and rosacea. The mechanism by which this is achieved is still being explored, but the speculation is that this effect is due to a combination of the protective, “shielding” effect lactobacillus provides for skin cells, the antibacterial effect of bacteriocin produced by lactobacillus, and the anti-inflammatory effect of lactobacillus.
